Deceptively small sink,
Memphismom (not verified) — Mon, 06/29/2009 - 19:00I was thrilled to find a thicker gauge sink for $100 less than in the stores. Everything looked good until the sink was installed. After installation I noticed that the basins seemed smaller than my previous sink. The depth was accurate but there was no mention of how wide the basins were. All that was provided were the exterior dimensions. Come to find out they are about 1 1/2"- 2" narrower than my standard drop in sink. Plus the template for cutting out the granite counter left about 1/2" overhang around the sink which took up more space in the basin of the sink. The sink looks good and is big enough for most things except for platters, really big pots, and my griddle. The price was right but I now wish I had spent the extra $100.

Good Product- Good Price,
SZTRD (not verified) — Mon, 06/29/2009 - 17:36Overall- a great sink at a great price. As other people have commented- it definitely has more of a "brushed" look - but it works well in our kitchen (and it looks great with the Fountain brushed faucet). We didn't install it (our contractor did)- but he didn't mentioned any complaints. (It was used w/a concrete countertop). It arrived in good condition- and with all hardware (as far as I know, anyway). The price was much lower than for comparable sinks at our local contractor store.
Nice Sink for the Money,
JimThePlumber (not verified) — Mon, 06/29/2009 - 17:36When looking for stainless steel sinks, I couldn't believe the price some were charging. Then I found this nice priced unit at Overstock. The difficulty was finding a sink that had centered drain holes that lined up with my previous over the counter sink, as a new granite countertop was being installed and I did not want to hire a plumber in addition to all the counter costs. This sink was just what the doctor ordered, nice grain and not to deep, as when you install under the counter you will gain an additional inch of depth due to the counter, only had to remove 1 3/4" of PVC to complete the installation, thus allowing me to re-use all my previous plumbing and disposal unit. Now, I must say I do not have enough time to see how well the unit holds up under normal use, but for now, its looking good.
