I emphasize value and quality in providing this website that allows people to review sinks.
I felt I should share this comment at GardenWeb:

Years ago, US brand names meant that
the products were made in the USA. In most cases, quality made a difference where they were made from. It's no longer the case today. Due to "in demand" products, most are made in China with cheap labor, then, stamped with a US brand and the stamp cost is added to the consumers.
Think about it, would you think twice of the quality if a "Blanco" or "Kindred" sink is priced for a merely $200? Perhaps, that's why they don't lower their prices.
During the 80's when economy was extremely down in Houston, my sister wanted to help out the consumers, so she lowered the prices of her pastries. The pastries were offered of the same ingredients, the same daily freshness and the same cut sizes. However, her customers questioned the new prices vs. its qualities. As a result, she had to raise back the prices in order to bring the sale back.
Anyway, here's my Ticor sink. I've enjoyed it and it's of great quality. Why would I even pay more for just a brand name! Nowadays, I compare materials made and where it was made rather than by brand names.
Read the reviews on the sinks, and make the decision yourself! For example, here's the most expensive sink I have:
Copper Undermount Sink, $1699.99
